A manufacturer in the food industry wanted to increase the efficiency of a production line by reducing manual interventions, improving product quality and cutting the number of staff required to operate the line.
Solution
MANiQ developed a computer vision solution that automatically detects whether products have been assembled correctly and immediately removes non-conforming products from the production line. In addition, the product feed was mechanically optimised to improve product alignment and minimise the need for manual corrections further down the line. The solution included the complete supply of hardware, software, PLC integration and commissioning.
